EndNote is a database. Data entry must be done correctly. (Remember - rubbish in, rubbish out.)
If you decide to use EndNote, you should use EndNote for everything you write.
Use EndNote WHILE you write and compile your library as you go. Don't wait until you've finished writing, then think to put every reference into EndNote.
Have one EndNote library, and use the groups function to distinguish your projects and assignments.
